England – Ghana Preview – Can England seal the Round of 16 early?
Both sides have three points and sit at the top of Group L, but the table is doing a lot of flattering work for Ghana.

Ghana beat Panama 1-0 through a Caleb Yirenkyi goal in the 95th minute from a Brandon Thomas-Asante cross. A win is a win, but the gulf between those two performances is hard to miss.
Win here and England are in the Round of 16 with a game to spare. That means Tuchel can rotate, protect minutes, and arrive at the knockout stage without anything riding on the final group day. It is a meaningful prize and England’s management will go for it.
